LIS 6511 Collection Development and Maintenance
- Community Needs Assessment - As a member of a group, we analyzed the demographics and circulation statistics of a community. With this information, we developed user surveys for library users, non-library users, and library staff to determine the unique needs of our community. We used this data to aid in our development of a public library collection which will suit the specific demographics of our community.
II.b. Students evaluate and select print and digital information resources and systems to meet needs of users.
